About

Who I Am

Hi! My name is Adam, and I’m a New York City-based producer, sound designer, songwriter, and engineer. I’ve been writing “songs” (using the term loosely here) ever since my dad took me to see Bruce Springsteen at age 4. With ear protection and a very rock ‘n’ roll bandana, of course.

While you may not be looking for a small child with a plastic guitar yelling Born to Run into a Fisher Price cassette recorder, the overwhelming, instantaneous  love and connection I felt as a kid only grew deeper, and evolved into a perpetual need to create music. I joined my first band at age 14, and over the 20 years since, I’ve written, recorded, and performed with dozens of songwriters, musicians, and producers across a whole spectrum of genres, as well as built a cozy, well-equipped home studio where I can write, produce, and mix music at a professional level.

I value the opportunity to be of service to others. I value kindness, integrity, and empathy. And I happen to have borderline obsessive attention to detail when it comes to the fine margins.

What it all boils down to is this: I make commercial-grade recordings accessible to everyone. My goal is to provide you with an unmistakably professional product, a comfortable, creative work environment, and affordable service.

When I’m not making music, you can usually catch me watching a Liverpool match, studying Japanese, or planning my next adventure!

What I Can Offer

When you book with me, you get access to an in-home studio, where I produce commercial-grade recordings in a friendly, low-pressure environment. In the heart of Long Island City, I built my studio for artists and creatives in need of professional music production and sound design services, mix engineering, and one-on-one artist development at a fair price, while providing personalized attention you can’t get at a big studio. With over 15 years of experience recording and producing music, I tailor your sessions to your goals to create a custom product you’re proud of.

Looking Ahead

As my little business grows, my goal is to dedicate two days a week to take on free projects for those who wouldn’t otherwise have access. I was fortunate enough as a kid to have teachers, mentors, and friends who afforded me the opportunity to learn to do what I love most. What it meant to me was immeasurable. And so, as soon as it’s possible, I want to pass that on to the next generation of songwriters and producers.
