Equipment

Over the course of 15 years recording music, you tend to collect some gear. Here’s mine. Some of the pieces here I’ve had as long as I can remember and some are still new to my rig, some are mid-century vintage and some are decidedly modern. I cultivated and refined (and no doubt will continue to cultivate and refine) this collection as I learned and grew as a producer and engineer, and the result is an amply equipped studio, capable of authentically capturing all kinds of sounds. Cumulatively, I’ve spent thousands of hours with these tools, and can use them to make any source sound its best.

DAWs & Software

Ableton Live
Ableton is my home base. This is my primary DAW for production, songwriting, recording, arrangement, and sound design.

Universal Audio LUNA
LUNA is an incredible platform for mixing, with per-channel console and tape emulation, and exceptional summing. Basically, it sounds killer.

Logic Pro
Logic isn’t my primary DAW, but it’s an industry standard for a reason. It’s also great for sharing multitracks and creating unprocessed stems with minimal effort.

I also support plugin collections from most major developers, including Universal Audio, Soundtoys, FabFilter, iZotope, Native Instruments, Waves,
Valhalla DSP, Melodyne, Antares, Softube, and many more.
